New Trick

So, Ellie rolled over from her tummy to her back not long after the four month mark. She's still only done this a handful of times--I don't think it's because she hasn't mastered the skill, but more so because she isn't that interested in doing it.

She had been working on rolling over from her back to her tummy and had came so close several times. And then I think she decided she was "over it" for the time being and stopped making efforts to roll over. So determined yet stubborn that child. :)

The other night I set Ellie on her back on a blanket. She was happy and content so I ran upstairs to grab something. Seriously, no more than thirty seconds later I came back down to find this:

Oh, hey. No big deal.

She has since rolled over from back to tummy many times. Like an old pro, as though she's been doing this for ages.

Naps and bedtime could get more interesting around here.
