Yup, I totally hijacked this idea from blog buddy Brittnie over at A Joy Renewed. :)
Loving: Oh, there are so many things I could list here. And I know that's a very good thing! One of the many things I'm L-O-V-I-N-G right now is yogaglo.com. The ability to do yoga from home has been a complete sanity saver for this stay-at-home-mama. I don't think I can rave enough about this online yoga program. $18/month for unlimited streaming and there are so many (seriously, I think well over a thousand) classes to choose from, taught by some fabulous instructors. I love that there are a variety of class lengths too so if I don't have much time (always the case right now) I can still make time for a 20 or thirty minute class. Better than nothing, right? And no they're not paying me to say this...because when you have five blog readers that just doesn't happen.
Reading: 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess by Jen Hatmaker. I'm not too deep into the book yet but am loving it so far. It's already forcing me to think deeper about all the excess in my life and areas in which we really could stand to remove some clutter. Sigh, there are just so many material things in my life that I tend treat as needs rather than wants. Convicting, no?
Watching: Um, does the Today Show count? This is always on in the morning when I'm feeding Ellie first thing, eating breakfast myself, and just working on odds and ends around the house. There are too many other things I'd rather do with my free time right now than watch TV! I *DO* want to make some time to get caught up on Parenthood though. Still very behind on season four, so don't spoil it by telling me what happens. La, la, la...I'm covering my ears.
Listening To: Phil Wickham station on Pandora. Love, love, love his music! I have also managed to incorporate this into Ellie's bedtime routine by playing this during bath time.
Thinking About: Fellow friends dealing with infertility. This is a whole other post. But, man. My heart just BREAKS for those of you who are in the middle of this right now. I'm praying that your dreams will become reality very soon and that you will find joy, strength and peace even amidst your trials.
Looking Forward To: The weekend! Funny though, now that I stay at home the weekdays and weekend just kind of blend together. But we have a birthday party to go to for some dear friends' little one who just turned one and then a Superbowl party on Sunday. To which I might add I couldn't possibly care any less about the actual game. I'm in it for the socializing, ads, and food. Just being honest people.
Making Me Happy: Ellie's recent outburst of giggles. Enough said. Oh, my heart.
We're twins. I'm reading "Seven" too (loving it!) and also am into Parenthood (only on season 3 so far).
ReplyDeleteWe would be great friends if we lived close to each other! I am totally into my 7 book (SO GOOD) and I am a complete Parenthood junkie. Oh, and I have the TODAY show on every morning while I'm eating breakfast and feeding Clara etc.
ReplyDeleteGlad you stole the idea!! It's fun, huh?
